EMBT is proud to have participated in the first edition of the Bread & Heart Festival in Tirana, Albania—a new platform celebrating Albanian hospitality, architecture, and shared reflection on the future of our built environment. The main exhibition at the Book Building featured three EMBT projects: Koran Village in Pogradec, Housing Zhan D’Ark in Tirana, and Residence Velipoje in Shkodër.
Alongside these, our work was represented on two large-scale maps—one of Albania, one of Tirana—highlighting key architectural interventions across the country. The Tirana map, transformed into a 66 m² embroidered textile and ceramic installation by Pauline Omnes, integrated miniature representations of our buildings, bridging contemporary architecture and traditional craftsmanship.
