As part of the annual Festa del Cà ntir in Argentona, Benedetta Tagliabue was invited by the Museu del Cà ntir to design the commemorative water jug for 2025. This tradition, dating back to 1951, celebrates the region’s ceramic heritage through the work of leading artists and architects.
The EMBT design pays tribute to the women who, across generations, carried water from wells and rivers. The vase takes shape from a silhouette of a woman balancing a jug on her head. The piece also nods to Sant Domènec, protector of water and patron saint of Argentona.
