WAF World Architecture Festival China
We are happy to share that the Renewal of Century Square at East Nanjing Road, designed by Miralles Tagliabue β EMBT Architects in Shanghai, has been recognised at the 2026 World Architecture Festival China (WAF China).
Located in the heart of Shanghai, the project reimagines an existing urban square as a vibrant public space, bringing together landscape, architecture and everyday urban life. Through a careful reinterpretation of the site’s identity, the intervention creates new opportunities for gathering, interaction and connection within the city.
