The Frezza Milano Pop-Up marks the beginning of a new phase for Frezza and the first expression of the artistic direction led by Benedetta Tagliabue – EMBT Architects. Conceived for Milano Design Week 2026, the project occupies a temporary space in the Galleria San Babila, anticipating the company’s future permanent presence in Milan.

The installation is envisioned as an ephemeral yet programmatic architecture: a space deliberately presented as “under construction,” where unfinished surfaces, raw materials, and construction lighting become integral elements of the spatial narrative. Rather than a conventional showroom, the pop-up operates as a dynamic scenography that reveals the evolving identity of the brand.

The project unfolds through a sequence of fragments and references that reinterpret archetypes of Italian architecture. Echoes of Andrea Palladio, Antonio Canova, and Carlo Scarpa merge with landscapes from the Veneto region—the company’s place of origin—forming a layered visual narrative that connects memory, territory, and design culture. Walls become stratified surfaces where overlapping images evoke a journey between natural and built environments.

Within this setting, the collections designed by Monica Armani—Sabree and Lash—are integrated as spatial systems rather than isolated objects. They define flexible interior landscapes where the workplace expands beyond its traditional boundaries, engaging with hospitality and contract environments while maintaining a strong and coherent identity.

The project reflects Frezza’s strategic evolution: the workplace becomes an open platform capable of accommodating multiple uses and scenarios. In this sense, the pop-up acts as a spatial manifesto—where architecture, product, and narrative converge into a unified system.

Positioned between temporality and permanence, process and completion, the Frezza Milano Pop-Up establishes the foundations for a new exhibition language, expressing a brand identity in transformation.
