On April 19, 2024, the Inestable, Mistery, and Troncs tables will be exhibited in Japan.
They will be showcased at the European Garden of the Tokyo Metropolitan TEIEN Art Museum for the Rolex Tokyo Gala, curated by Kazuyo Sejima. The furniture is part of the Perpetual Moment all-day event (from 10 am to 10 pm), including a cocktail party.
These tables are part of the “dancing furniture” collection from Enric Miralles & Benedetta Tagliabue’s home, which means they can move and adapt. All the furniture has been faithfully recreated using AHEC’s American Hardwoods and crafted by La Navarra Carpentry Workshop in Madrid in 2021, based on drawings and documents from
Miralles’ private archive.
For this occasion, there is a new reproduction of the Troncs table in Japanese Cedar by Kudo Koumuten Carpentry.
