We are pleased to announce the winners of the A House for Enric Miralles open call, organised by Miralles Tagliabue – EMBT Architects in collaboration with ICARCH.
The competition invited participants to celebrate, reflect on and reinterpret Enric Miralles’s architectural legacy through new visions and proposals inspired by his distinctive approach to architecture.
The jury has selected the following winning proposals:
1st Prize
House for Miralles.
Franek Tyczyński, Rita Helena Cwynar & Melania Adela Cwynar, Graeme Greenfield, Faith Smith & Ross Macaskill, Francesc Rubert I Castro – Scotland.
2nd Prize
Casal Enric Miralles
Marco Ávila + Cherie Hidalgo + Diego Ramírez – Chile
3rd Prize
A House for Enric Miralles
Ryul Song, Christian Schweitzer – South Korea
The winning proposals are currently on display at the Fundació Enric Miralles. We would like to congratulate all those who took part in the open call and, in particular, the winners for their thoughtful and inspiring interpretations of Enric Miralles’s architectural legacy.
