On 30 June, the exhibition Liquid Architectures: Water Draws Always in Plural opened at the Fundació Enric Miralles. Organised by the Fundació Enric Miralles in collaboration with w a t e r s p a c e and Miralles Tagliabue – EMBT Architects, the exhibition explores the multiple relationships between water and architecture.
Bringing together 15 projects, the exhibition is structured around four main themes: Water Builds the City, Water Draws the Margin, Water Holds Memory and Water Becomes Invisible. Through these perspectives, it investigates water as an active element in architectural thinking: shaping urban environments, defining boundaries, preserving memory and becoming image, atmosphere and perception.
Original drawings, archival materials and models by Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue offer a closer insight into the creative processes and architectural research behind each project.
