Roca’s Nutura pavilion by Benedetta Tagliabue – EMBT Architects is unveiled at Roca Barcelona Gallery for Barcelona Design Week 2023.

Following the success of Nutura at Milan Design Week 2023, the pavilion has been brought to Roca Barcelona Gallery. It will be revealed to the public on October 18th, coinciding with the opening of Barcelona Design Week.

The pavilion’s undulating wood and ceramic walls integrate seamlessly with Roca Gallery’s existing bamboo garden. Wooden lattices create different levels of transparency resulting in a play of lights, shadows and textures, giving an overall sense of wellbeing and of Mediterranean living. Further complementing the natural and tranquil ambiance of the space, the pavilion’s floor is adorned with ceramic tiles in muted shades of blue and brown featuring Benedetta Tagliabue – EMBT Architects’ allegorical drawings of Roca’s latest collections.

“Nutura can be enjoyed from the inside and the outside. It is a place of peace of rest, built with natural elements and discovered little by little. When you enter, it is like walking into a world that overlooks the sea, related to the Mediterranean Architecture of Coderch” – Benedetta Tagliabue.

The pavilion can be visited from the 18th of October at the Roca Barcelona Gallery (Joan Güell, 211-213).
