The Sberbank Headquarters in St. Petersburg is envisioned as a crystalline city, inspired by the frozen beauty of the northern landscape. The design translates the transformation of water into ice into an urban pattern, shaping the masterplan with crystalline lines that resemble a frozen lake.
The development integrates a mix of functions, including offices, a hotel, a shopping mall, and co-working spaces, creating a vibrant hub at the port. The headquarters cluster follows a strict zero-energy concept, with photovoltaic-covered roofs optimized for sunlight exposure, intelligent façade systems with solar louvers, and natural cooling strategies.
Public spaces adapt to seasonal changes: a covered winter road extends outdoor activities in colder months, while in summer, a network of small roads and squares leads to the waterfront. The project’s iconic towers rise from a sculpted topography, resembling floating icebergs, positioning the Sberbank Quarter as a landmark for both residents and visitors.
