We understood we wanted to build our new store the same way Camper shoes are built in Mallorca. We cut different shoe forms, with hills, without hills, tall, short, for men, for women… we put those flat profiles one next to the other… and that is how our the volume of our new Camper store appeared!

Miralles Tagliabue EMBT is bulding the spanish pavilion for the universal exhibition of Shanghai in 2010.
The building, with an area of 8000 meters, is inspired on wicker baskets. Its façades will be covered by this material which is present both in spanish and chinese traditional arts & crafts. |
