To mark the tenth anniversary of the construction of the Gas Natural Fenosa building, the Gas Museum presents the temporary exhibition Un calidoscopi en la ciutat (A kaleidoscope in the city), curated by the architectural firm Miralles Tagliabue EMBT. The exhibition explains the construction process of the current headquarters, located on the same site as the first gasworks in Spain.

The avant-garde architecture of Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue, conceived as poetic language of volumes and reflections, offers a renewed take of the environment through mirrors and, thanks to its distinctive profile, it has changed the shape of the city from both land, sea and air.

This temporary exhibition, Un calidoscopi en la ciutat, represents a small portion of the history of Gas Natural Fenosa company, which is naturally also the history of Barcelona and its citizens. With the start of the new century, Barcelona became a magnet for talent and creativity that has allowed the city to project itself internationally. And in this Mediterranean city, the Gas Natural Fenosa building stands tall as a great kaleidoscope, an icon for a modern city that is full of energy and innovation.
